An incredibly rare opportunity to acquire one of the finest Mercedes 190E in the country. Purchased by a local lady as a personal import in August 1987 this exceptional vehicle has been garaged from new and been maintained to the highest standards. Nice specification including power steering, electric steel sunroof, electric windows and passenger mirror, remote locking alarm, rear spoiler and full body styling kit (which we believe to be after market) and a radio/cd player (also supplied with a period correct Blaupunkt Paris radio cassette). Recently re-commissioned after the last few years in dry storage (the car has only covered 188 miles in the last 10 years!) with a major service and a fresh MOT the car is driving beautifully and everything is working as it should. As can be seen from the photographs the bodywork and interior are as close to immaculate as is possible to be, the panel gaps even and the paintwork lustrous, the seat fabric free from any rips or tears, the headlining taut and the carpets unmarked. The only criticism that I could raise is that the under bonnet and bulk head insulation has deteriorated but we are making enquiries to see if we can source a replacement. Not bad for a 35 year old vehicle and testament to the build quality of this wonderful car.
